ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man was arrested for allegedly selling heroin near a downtown Rockford church.

Aaron Wright, 24, was arrested Tuesday after several complaints over the past few months.

Wright was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance within 500 feet of a church.

Police did not release the location of the church, but say drugs were being sold in the downtown area.

Wright is being held at Winnebago County Jail. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
