Rockford man arrested for breaking into Beauty Max

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man was arrested after breaking into a local beauty store last week.

Rodriquez Bunton, 45, is accused of damaging the front door of Beauty Max and stealing several items from the store.

Officers arrived to the scene around midnight on Tuesday, May 7 at 3128 N. Rockton Ave. after a security alarm went off. In a follow-up investigation Bunton was identified as the suspect.

Bunton was arrested on warrant on Thursday, May 9. He is being held in Winnebago County Jail on a burglary charge.

Bunton is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
