Rockford Police investigating armed robbery at Dollar General

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) ----- Rockford Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Dollar General on Kishwaukee Street Saturday night.

Around 6:30 p.m., officers arrived at the store to learn that four men with guns walked in, demanding money from the clerk. The clerk gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money from the registers. The suspects fled on foot from the store.

The suspects are described to be black males in their late teens to early twenties, all between 5 foot 9 to 6 feet tall with thin to medium builds wearing hoodies and masks.
