Rockford, Ill. (WIFR) - We are just 48 days until Christmas, but just 6 days away from the cutting of Rockford's most popular Christmas tree.
This is video of the massive Christmas tree for last years Stroll on State, and the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau just announced the sixth annual Rockford Christmas Tree Harvest Day on Tuesday, November 13th. That's when the Bureau will cut down this year's Stroll on State tree at 7:40 in the morning at a home in the Village of Winnebago. They will then drive it to it's usual location on West State and Wyman streets in downtown Rockford. The tree will remain at that location until this year's Stroll on State on November 24th.
