Rochelle homes, cars vandalized from egg attacks

ROCHELLE, Ill. (WIFR) -- Egg attacks caused damage to multiple homes and cars in Rochelle, according to police.

Rochelle police say several homes and cars were vandalized overnight Tuesday.

Police say the egg attacks happened in in the 800 block of North Eighth Street, the 900 block of Woolf Court and the 1200 block of Sunnymeade Drive.

The egg attacks come weeks after another form of vandalism in Rochelle. Several garages and homes were plagued by a graffiti spree​ in late May. It is unclear whether the series of crimes are connected.
