An Arizona shelter dog will take on the lead role in Disney's live-action remake of "Lady and the Tramp."

Monte, a two-year-old terrier mix, was adopted from HALO Animal Rescue in Phoenix.

Monte was rescued from the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley in Las Cruces, New Mexico, by HALO Animal Rescue in April 2018.

Actor Justin Theroux will be the voice of Monte, the "Tramp," in the remake of the popular 1955 animated movie.

"Lady and the Tramp" will be released on Disney+ on November 12.
