ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Rockford Education Association members will continue to go through the school year without a tentative contract agreement as they vote against a new negotiation Sunday night.

The ratification team presented a new negotiated 3-year contract to the REA members that was sent back to the negotiating team in August.

The members voted 261 in favor and 513 against this tentative agreement.

The majority of the people say the negotiation had progress, but they did not want to ratify this contract.
