Police search for two suspects after armed robbery at Fas Fuel Mart

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Rockford police are investigating an armed robbery that happened around 12:42 a.m. at the Fas Fuel Mart at 4106 Harrison Avenue.

Investigators say a clerk told police that two men walked into the business and demanded money. At least one of the suspects had a handgun.

After demanding money, they ran away. No one was injured in that robbery.

Police are searching for two suspects in connection to this robbery.

The first suspect they describe as a black male, six feet tall and heavy-set, wearing a grey sweatshirt with a hood and black pants.

The second is described as a six-foot tall black man with a medium build who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
