Police: Employee found dead at Sterling Steel

STERLING, Ill. (WIFR) -- A 46-year-old man was found dead Tuesday morning at Sterling Steel Company, LLC.

The Sterling Police Department says David Hanna, an employee of the company, was found unresponsive around 6:45 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Whiteside County Coroner.

Sterling police are investigating the death, but do not suspect foul play.

Sauk Valley Media reports Hanna was found near a silo on the property and likely died from a fall, per the coroner.
