One dead, one airlifted after head-on crash in Orangeville

ORANGEVILLE, Ill. (WIFR) – One driver is dead and another is flown to a Rockford hospital after a head-on crash in Orangeville.
Illinois State Police say it happened Tuesday night around 7:30 on Illinois Route 26, just south of Oneco Road in Orangeville. Investigators say 22-year-old Tim Vorwald of Freeport was killed in the crash. The driver of the other car, 30-year-old Justin Brinkmeyer of Orangeville was airlifted to a Rockford hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Illinois State Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
