One arrested, one wanted for beating Rockford man, invading his home

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- One man was arrested and another is wanted for invading a Rockford home and beating a man in October.

Shane Swick, 27, was arrested on New Year's Day in the 200 block of James Avenue.

A warrant was also issued for his brother, Sebastion Swick, 28, who remains at large.

Police say Shane and Sebastion invaded a home in the 2900 block of Lapey Street.

The victim, a 42-year-old man, was beaten by both suspects, who were reportedly known acquaintances. The victim was treated for a head injury and a broken arm at a hospital.

Shane and Sebastion are both charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and mob action on a bond of $250,000.
