ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man is behind bars after officers recovered a loaded gun, pills and cannabis from him Tuesday morning.
Tristan Barmore, 30, had been wanted on outstanding charges.
Authorities were attempting to locate Barmore around 3 a.m., then found him walking in the 1400 block of Preston Street.
Police say Barmore refused instructions from officers and was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
Barmore was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and resisting a peace officer.
Barmore is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
