Officer hurt, Janesville man arrested in heroin bust

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WIFR) -- One police officer was injured in pursuit of a Janesville man, who was arrested on heroin charges Sunday night.

Jacob T. Bradley, 22, faces three felony charges and three misdemeanors related to heroin possession and resisting arrest.

Janesville police executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of Bedford around 7:30 p.m. Bradley allegedly resisted officers at the front door, but was later taken into custody.

The injured officer has since been treated and released from a local hospital.

Bradley was taken to Rock County Jail. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
