Northwest Bank breaks ground on a new Loves Park location

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WIFR) - Northwest Bank broke ground on its new location Wednesday afternoon making it the largest locally owned banking organization in Winnebago County.

Northwest Bank along with Loves Park city leaders hosted a groundbreaking event to celebrate the new location in the 4400 block of Peak Drive.

Northwest Bank says the company is expanding and needs more space for new employees and a bigger mortgage department. The 12,000 square foot space will include executive offices and a retail banking space with drive-up lanes and an ATM.

The bank is expected to open in September.
