ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- The National Weather Service calls for another Winter Weather Advisory in northern Illinois with a wintry mix and freezing temperatures expected overnight.
The advisory takes effect for most northern Illinois counties from midnight to 6 p.m. Wednesday. It includes Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Lee, Jo Daviess, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside and Winnebago counties.
Wednesday morning's wintry mix could bring up to 3 inches of snow and one tenth of ice as a result of snow and freezing rain.
The National Weather Service says conditions could impact commutes late evening Tuesday and early morning Wednesday.
