Two puppies are still looking for homes after Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary kicked off its first holiday adoption special last week.

Fourteen dogs found homes from Noah's Ark's first "Home for the Howlidays!" special, but a few young pooches remain up for adoption.

One of the dogs, Luigi, was snowed in Monday after a staff member took him home for the weekend. The sanctuary says Luigi will be available for meetings Tuesday.

Another puppy will be up for re-adoption after being returned to Noah's Ark.

New owners will receive a free bed or blanket, a crate or carrier and a bag of food after adopting the dogs.

You can visit the dogs Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, Inc., which is located at 111 N. First St. in Rockford.
