ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Illinois Lottery says a new ticket raises funds for homelessness prevention and assistance programs.

You can now purchase $2 tickets “Easy as 1-2-3” game.

Profits from the game will be deposited into the Homelessness Prevention Revenue Fund and be used by the Illinois Department of Human Services.

The department's homeless prevention program provides rental assistance, utility assistance and support services for individuals and families who are currently homeless or in danger of eviction, foreclosure or homelessness.

“Illinois Lottery is proud to support such a worthy cause and expand its commitment to good causes around the state,” says acting director Harold Mays. “This new game will help us achieve our goal to create fun games that benefit people and communities throughout Illinois.”
