Multi-family apartment building fire injures one, send officers to hospital in Beloit

One person was hurt after an apartment fire in Beloit early Saturday morning.

Beloit Fire Department shared the blaze started around 7:00 a.m. at a multi-family apartment building at 220 W. Grand Avenue.

Two Beloit patrol officers were transferred to a local hospital for possible smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
