ROCHELLE, Ill. (WIFR) -- Mega Millions fever has hit the stateline after the jackpot rises to $521 million.
Friday night's drawing is the 10th largest in U.S. lottery history.
A $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Rochelle gas station ahead of Tuesday's drawing, and the good luck has led more lottery-hopefuls to pick up their tickets from the Shell gas station on Lake Lida Lane.
The massive drawing has several thinking of what they would buy if they match every number.
"I would definitely put my kids through college, they're getting to that age, my son's actually going to college next year", said Heather Shafer. " I would love to help my family out, that's my number one thing."
