Man wears 'Scream' mask while robbing Rockford gas station

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Rockford police are looking for a man who allegedly wore a 'Scream' masked while robbing a gas station and took off with cash.

Police say the Phillips 66 gas station at 4402 Linden Road was robbed Tuesday night around 10:40 p.m.

The masked suspect was armed with a knife when he entered the gas station. He reportedly demanded money from the cash register and left the area. Police say no one was hurt.

The suspect was described as a black man around 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black and white shoes and a black and white 'Scream' ghost mask.
