UPDATE: Man on bike hit by car in Roscoe

Roscoe Police says on September 19, 2017, at around 11:46pm, they were dispatched to a bicycle vs. vehicle accident.

Nathaniel Putnam of Roscoe, the 18-year-old bicyclist, was traveling westbound on Elevator Rd. The vehicle was driven by 35-year-old Kenderick Moore of Loves Park, who was traveling southbound on Highway 251.

Kenderick was not injured and is cooperating with the Roscoe Police Department.


An 18-year-old on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 251 and Elevator Rd. in Roscoe just before midnight last night. The cyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Roscoe Police say alcohol was not involved in the accident. It is still under investigation.
