Man indicted on murder charges for death of Rockford rapper

A man was indicted on first-degree murder charges for the shooting death of Robert Wash, a local musician also known as 'Pair-A-Dice" in October.

Eric Brown, 28, was formally

with first-degree murder, home invasion, and armed robbery.

Police say Wash was shot around 8 p.m. on Oct. 15 in 4900 block of Harrison Avenue.

Wash suffered multiple gun shot wounds outside of an apartment building. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

If convicted, Brown faces up to 60 years in prison and three years of mandatory supervised release with the possibility of an extended sentence between 45 years to natural life.

Brown is due back in court on Dec. 19. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
