Man grazed as suspects invade Rockford home, steal money

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A 22-year-old man was grazed Thursday afternoon after two suspects invaded his Rockford home.

Rockford police responded to a shots fired call around 1:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Shelly Drive.

Police say the victim was in his backyard when he was approached by two other men who had ran through his home. The victim suffered a graze wound, but police say he declined medical attention.

The suspects took off with money. Police say they left the home in a four-door, burgundy SUV.
