A man caught with cocaine, heroin and other drugs during a traffic stop in Rockford earlier this year will spend 15 years in prison.
Alonte M. Bjorlie, 23, was pulled over near Route 251 and Windsor Road on May 7, 2019. Deputies say they searched his vehicle after smelling marijuana.
Deputies recovered portions of controlled substances, which later tested positive for cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.
Bjorlie was sentenced to 15 years for three separate charges, including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession with intent to deliver fentanyl.
Bjorlie was convicted of all three charges in August. He will serve the sentences concurrently. He will also be required to have three years of mandatory supervised release after his term.
