BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) -- A man who was allegedly involved in four burglaries of a Piggly Wiggly in Beloit has been arrested, according to a Facebook update from the Beloit Police Department.

Jeffrey M. Taylor, 37, of Janesville, was taken into custody after officers responded to a burglary Wednesday night. He was also charged for three other burglaries at the Piggly Wiggly in 1800 block of Prairie Avenue.

The Beloit Police Department says it was working with the store to improve security after three other break-ins from Nov. 6-26. One of the officers reportedly spotted a burglary Wednesday night around 11 p.m.

Police say they cleared the building with help from a K-9 and found the suspect hiding in a vent on the roof.

Taylor was also arrested on bail jumping charges. Police say he was on a $500 cash bond prior to Wednesday's burglary charge.

Taylor is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
