ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A 29-year-old Rockford man already behind bars after a standoff this week faces charges for another shooting in March.

On March 31, Rockford police responded to a shots fired call in the 1900 block of South 4th Street.

The suspect, now identified as Mykel Curry, allegedly fired at a car during a dispute. No one was hurt.

Curry was arrested Tuesday after a three and a half hour standoff with police. He was wanted for a shooting incident Monday on 27th Street.

Curry was charged Tuesday for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Now, he faces another count of aggravated discharge of a firearm for the March 31 incident.

Curry's bond is set at $1 million for the new charges.

He's considered innocent until proven guilty.
