Magpie Bistro plans to open with new Rockford location

UPDATE: ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIF) -- Magpie Bistro plans to open up a new Rockford location after its former location closed more than a year ago due to significant fire damage.
Owner Stephanie Caltagerone says her new café location will be at 126 Madison St.
Caltagerone has been working to restart her business that was once connected to Hanley. Her Bistro was forced to close due to significant damage.
ROCKFORD Ill. (WIFR) -- Aside from art, the Greenwich Art Fair features live music, kid’s crafts and food from local places like Magpie Bistro.
The Magpie Bistro faced some major damages after a fire occurred in the Hanley building next door, shutting down the restaurant. But, the art fair has allowed Magpie to get back to work and Stephanie Caltagerone, owner of Magpie says she will be reopening at a new location soon.
"So I really just can't wait to be able to see everybody face to face and feed them again. We were having such a good time with it and we can't wait to get back in," said Caltagerone.
Magpie Bistro will announce their new location as soon as everything is cleared and ready to go.
