BELIOT, Wis (WIFR) --- Marshal Blomberg is a Korean war veteran, a wood carver, has excellent memory and at 92 years old he's more than ready to visit Washington D.C for the very first time.
"I've seen that on picture but I'm going to finally see if I can find my name on the Korean board that they have," says Blomberg.
Blomberg has chronic heart failure, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. Today he is all geared up with a camera in hand and his trusted assistant by his side.
Cheryl Bush is Blomberg's hospice case manager nurse and she visits him twice a week. Now they 're taking on the road for a four day trip to visit historic monuments.
"I'm going to have a lot of fun," says Blomberg.
