ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) ---- “It's actually been wild, super busy, keeping up with customers, it's been exciting, it's been real fun," said retail employee Camron Kotkee.
For many Stateliners, the holiday shopping season has flown by in the blink of an eye. With Christmas just hours away, stores are bustling with shoppers anxiously trying to snag those last-minute goodies for their friends and loved ones. Luckily, there are some people who are ready and willing to lend a hand in the search.
"Us retail people, we are here to help you. You come in and just ask us a question. Don't come in and try and do it alone. Always ask us for help, we probably know a lot more about the store, know all the sizes, we can get you what you need in a quick second if you just ask us," said 510 Threads sales associate Soryia Stallings.
Experienced shoppers, like Cindy Anderson, who have checked off their lists, have one essential rule when it comes to getting that one of a kind gift.
"Sometimes you'll just see something, if it makes you think about somebody, get it on the spot because you'll go back, and there... stores change their inventory all the time so they're probably not going to have it months later," said Anderson.
And, if you've done all you can but are still having trouble locking down a present for that special someone.
"When in doubt, gift card it out!" said Stallings.
