SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WIFR) -- Investigators are asking anyone with information in a South Beloit death investigation to come forward. This comes after a woman's body was found at a Road Ranger truck stop Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators tell us the middle-aged African American woman was found face down and clothed next to a semi at the road ranger on Gardner Street in South Beloit. She was found by a truck driver inspecting his vehicle on the east side of the road ranger parking lot.

Officers say they are inspecting surveillance video from the store. They say there are thousands of people coming and going through the truck stop which makes the investigation difficult.

While there are no suspects in the case at this point, there are also no witnesses either. Investigators say while it's still early in the investigation, they aren't ruling out foul play.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Beloit police or the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office.
