A new

from Quote Wizard gives Illinois drivers an "A" ranking.

Quote Wizard compiled information from all 50 states, measuring the quality of road infrastructure, distracted driving fatality rates and insurance rates among other criteria.

Illinois was recognized for its low rate of distracted drivers and up-to-date infrastructure. Illinois drivers between the ages of 40-60 were considered among the state's safest.

Harvey, Evanston and Calumet City named were named the best cities for drivers in the state. The report also credits Chicago for having one of the best driving experiences among highly-populated cities.
