ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- If your family plans to pass through tolls to visit over the holidays, Illinois Tollway offers an opportunity to make their commutes a little easier.
I-PASS customers can add out-of-town family members and friends to their accounts, according to the Illinois Tollway website. This would allow travelers to pass through tolls without having to pay in cash of change.
I-PASS customers can help visitors by adding temporary license plates to their accounts, including ones for rental cars. Once added, visitors can drive through the toll stations without violation.
The toll cost will be added on to the owner's account. If you would like to add family and friends to your account, visit the Illinois Tollway website for complete instructions.
