IDOT announces lane closures beginning Monday

The Illinois Department of Transportation announces a lane will be closed northbound on I-39 at the ramp to eastbound US 20.

The closure will take effect, weather permitting, at 7 a.m. Monday and continue until 3 p.m. Tuesday. The eastbound ramp will remain open. IDOT workers will be out preforming repairs.

As always, drivers are encouraged to use extreme caution and slow down through work zones.
