BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) -- More than two years in the making, a new extended stay hotel finally opens.
Homes-2-Suites by Hilton held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.
The hotel features 102 rooms, including a boardroom and large conference room that can seat more than 100 people. Suites and in-room kitchens are also available.
Although the opening was pushed back because of January's cold snap, hotel officials say they are happy to finally see their doors open.
"It's been a wild coming," said Scott Sullivan, president of J.B. Sullivan Inc. "We've all worked very hard for probably a two to two and a half year stint to get this thing open and operating. So it's an exciting to get finally where we can finally cut the ribbon."
The hotel will offer free breakfast and pet-friendly accommodations.
