Semi-trailer catches on fire in private lot, no one hurt

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) -- Updated: May 2, 2019, 5:55 p.m.

No one was hurt after a semi-trailer in Rockford caught on fire Thursday afternoon.

Win-Bur-Sew fire officials say the semi-trailer had been parked in a private lot for repairs since winter.

Crews are not sure how the fire started, but say the vehicle appears to be a total loss after damage.
