Hard Rock Casino Rockford partners with local businesses
"What we get will be wonderful, I'm looking forward to it," says Rockford resident Russ Steiner.
Steiner has been living in Rockford for 50 years and you can say he's a Hard Rock Casino Rockford supporter.
"I was here yesterday, I got a T-shirt but the XL's are running small so I came back and got an XXL," says Steiner.
For the third day, the doors of the Hard Rock Casino Rockford office have been bustling.
"Insane, exciting, a blast, as you can see we have lines of people waiting everyday before we even open the doors. It's been awesome," says office manager Aleksandra Micevic.
Giving the community free locally made t-shirts is just one of the ways Hard Rock is giving back to the Forest City.
"The original order was 1,500 shirts and they actually wanted us to cross promote too and put our logo on the back," says Rockford Art Deli owner Jarrod Hennis.
Collaborating with local partners has gained Hard Rock support throughout the area.
"As a local firm that is doing business with Hard Rock Rockford, we have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support for this particular proposal," says KMK media group CEO, Pam Maher.
