ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - A stateline funeral home breathes new life and the public was invited to it's grand opening Wednesday afternoon.
They brought out the big scissors for the open house at the brand new Grace Funeral and Cremation Services' addition in the 43 hundred block of North Main Street in Rockford.
Local artist Roni Golan performed a live painting during Wednesday's event and the public was invited to tour the new facility. The family owned funeral home opened it's doors in June of 2009; and now they've expanded their offerings to include an event space for both inside and outside events, as well as a new pet and human crematory in their new space.
"This is the absolute perfect space for our type of busines. We have a great lobby. We have multi purpose spaces and multi functional spaces," said Grace Co-Owner Kristan McNames. "We can run several events concurrently."
