Freeport man charged after Ecstasy pills found during traffic stop

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Freeport man was arrested Thursday after officers found Ecstasy inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Quinn Robinson, 32, was stopped at Cherry Avenue and Clark Street around 7:50 p.m. for a turn signal violation.

A K-9 alerted Freeport police to drugs during the traffic stop. Officers found found 126 pills of MDMA, commonly referred to as Ecstasy, in the glove compartment. Officers also recovered a plastic bag containing approximately 4.5 grams of suspected MDMA powder.

Robinson was charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver (15-200 pills).

Robinson is being held at the Stephenson County Jail. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
