FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) -- Homes in Freeport and Stephenson County sold at a strong pace in October, according to real estate professional Aubura Palermo.
Palermo says 53 homes sold in Stephenson County last month, including 37 in Freeport.
The homes were sold for more than $100,000 on average. The recently-sold homes spent around 67 days on the market in Freeport and 89 days on the market in Stephenson County on average.
Palermo says buyer demand is strong and the county has trended towards a seller's market for three months.
