Freeport Police seek man who brought pistol into BP gas station

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) -- Freeport Police are looking for a man who allegedly brought a semi-automatic pistol into a local BP gas station.

Police say the suspect was at the BP at 342 N. Park Blvd. around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The suspect was accused of showing the pistol and demanding cash. Police say the man left with a package of cigarettes, and he was last seen running southbound on Park Boulevard.
