Fourth suspect arrested for 2018 murder at Taco Bell on Auburn

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) -- A fourth murder suspect was arrested in connection to a shooting death at Taco Bell on Auburn Street in 2018.

Qydennie Simmons, 43, was booked into the Winnebago County Jail on Tuesday. He was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first degree murder and attempted armed robbery.

Simmons was one of four suspects arrested for the death of 25-year-old Zachary Reyes and injuries to a 37-year-old woman on Nov. 13, 2018. Police say it happened at the Taco Bell at 2602 Auburn Street.

Shymarco Jackson, 17, and Demarco Ford, 18, were taken into custody in March. Mycarlo Gunn, 22, was arrested in April.

All suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
