Four suspects arrested after allegedly pulling a gun on a group in Beloit

Four suspects are taken into custody after a police chase through across the Stateline early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 900 block of Fourth Street for a report of someone pointing a gun at a group of people early Saturday morning. City of Beloit Police spotted the suspects’ vehicle near Fourth and Henry Avenue.

The vehicle took off and a chase ensued through Beloit and South Beloit. The pursuit came to an end after the suspects’ vehicle crashed into a South Beloit squad car. No injuries were reported.

Beloit Police announced those arrested are Alexa M. Torres, 19, of Beloit for fleeing/eluding; she also faces charges in Illinois as she was driving when the vehicle struck the South Beloit squad. Donta J. Evans Pound, 26, of Beloit, was arrested with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Two of suspects involved are minors.
