Four arrested on Guilford High School rooftop

ROCKFORD, Ill (WIFR) – Tuesday night around 11:08pm, the Rockford Police Department received calls from Guilford High School maintenance workers reporting subjects walking on the roof of the school. The employees also mentioned the subjects may have entered the school.

Rockford Police officers arrived and secured the perimeter of the school. Shortly after, they located four individuals on the northeast side of the rooftop.

After conducting an investigation, charges were authorized for 19-year-old Noah Benson, 19-year-old Abraham Gonzalez, 19-year-old Benjamin H. Schwalbach, and 19-year-old Andrew J. Schmitt.
Charges are as follows:

ARRESTED: Noah Benson 19-years-old Rockford, Ill.
CHARGES: Criminal Trespass to Land and Criminal Trespass to State Land

ARRESTED: Abraham Gonzalez 19-years-old Rockford, Ill.
CHARGES: Criminal Trespass to Land and Criminal Trespass to State Land

ARRESTED: Benjamin H. Schwalbach 19-years-old Rockford, Ill.
CHARGES: Criminal Trespass to Land and Criminal Trespass to State Land

ARRESTED: Andrew J. Schmitt 19-years-old Rockford, Ill.
CHARGES: Criminal Trespass to Land and Criminal Trespass to State Land

All parties are presumes innocent until proven guilty in court.
