Four arrested from armed robbery at Dixon US Cellular store

DIXON, Ill. (WIFR) -- Four people were arrested after an armed robbery at a Dixon US Cellular store at 155 Keul Road on Monday night.

Officers arrived to the store just before 6 p.m. Police say two suspects wearing masks entered the store, including one who was armed with a handgun and ordered employees to the back room.

Police say the suspects stole money and several items from the store while employees were tied up. No one was hurt.

A witness gave police a description and license plate of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was pulled over eastbound on I-88 with help from Illinois State Police, Aurora Police and the Kane County Sheriff's Office.

Three Chicago men were accused armed robbery and several other charges, including Tyrone Buron, 54; Orlando Gates, 37; and Joshua Parker, 28. Ashley Wollschlaeger, 31, of Romeoville, also faces charges.

All four suspects were taken to Lee County Jail. They are considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
