Former IceHogs coach Ted Dent faces domestic charges

Ted Dent, a former Rockford IceHogs coach, was arrested on domestic violence charges.

According to court records, Dent was charged with domestic battery/bodily harm and domestic battery/physical contact.

A complaint states Dent is not allowed to consume alcohol, use drugs without a prescription or have contact with two direct family members while his case is under investigation.

He is only allowed to return to his residence one time under specific conditions. He must be accompanied by law enforcement and collect personal belongings within 20 minutes.

Dent appeared in court by video Monday. He is due back in court on April 16.

Dent was the IceHogs head coach from 2011 to 2017.
