Fire crews battle blaze at downtown Freeport restaurant

Multiple fire departments were called to a major fire that started around 9:30 Thursday night at Two Eagles Restaurant in downtown Freeport.
More than a dozen departments responded to the blaze, which is next to Flack Sweing Shope and two doors down from the historic Luecke Jewelers.
The restaurant was deemed a total loss and will have to be demolished, according to officials. No on was inside the restaurant at the time and no one was hurt.
