FHN Family Counseling Center now offers anti-drug misuse program

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) -- The FHN Family Counseling Center is now offering a free anti-drug misuse program.

The program is part of a national initiative known as Generation Rx. Locally, the program will be funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services.

Generation Rx aims to educate participants on safe medication practices. The FHN Family Counseling Center is offering this program free of charge to groups in Stephenson and Jo Daviess counties. For more information

"I think we're going to be reaching a population that is aware and maybe has prescription drugs," said FHN community director Renata Hepler. "Just to be aware that there's a proper way to use them."
