JANESVILLE, Wis. (WIFR) -- Drivers should expect delays and road closures Monday night on I-39/90 between Janesville and Beloit, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Southbound traffic will be diverted to one lane from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The adjustments come as crews look to shift traffic on the new concrete pavement.
Additionally, the following routes will be closed between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning:
-I-39/90 southbound ramp to WIS 11/Racine Street (Exit 175):
Monday 3-10 p.m.
-WIS 11/Racine Street ramp to I-39/90 southbound:
Monday 6 p.m. to Tuesday 2 a.m.
-I-39/90 southbound ramp to WIS 11/Avalon Road:
Monday 10 p.m. to Tuesday 6 a.m.
WisDOT says significant backups and delays are expected and drivers should consider using alternate routes.
