ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Some critical systems are back up with limited access at Rockford Public Schools after a ransomware attack prompted district-wide outages.
The district says employees are on track to be paid on time and email should be restored at the end of next week.
RPS 205 says it's working to provide access to Google, Google Classroom and Google Drive for schools early next week.
The phone system is still down but a specialist will be on site Monday to work on restoring access.
The district says more updates will come Monday.
