Crews respond to structure fire at Rockford courier business

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Updated: March 1, 2019, 12:25 p.m.

No one is hurt after a small commercial fire at Quick Care Courier in Rockford.

Officials say an employee was inside when he called about the fire, but escaped safely. Rockford Fire arrived to the scene around 11:30 a.m.

Crews put out the fire in less than an hour. The fire reportedly started from a furnace, but the cause is unknown.

Rockford fire crews have responded to a structure fire at the Quick Care Courier building in Rockford.

The business is located at 2250 11th St. Crews were on scene around 11:50 a.m.
